Picture gallery of the Accademia dei Concordi and the Episcopal Seminary

The Picture galleries of Accademia dei Concordi and of Seminario Vescovile are set in Rovigo in the prestigious Palazzo Roverella, the fifteenth-century abode of the powerful cardinal Bartolomeo Roverella. The exhibition is divided onto two floors: the attic floor is particularly charming with its red-bricks and the main floor is  decorated with frescos of the late nineteenth-century.
The exhibition space is of about 2000 square meters.

The museum operates in the artistic field, organising guided tours, educational activities for all grades and all types of schools, parallel readings of ancient and contemporary writers and music and painting exhibitions.
The works of art are mostly of the Venetian school from XIV to the XVIII centuries (Giovanni Bellini, Giambattista Piazzetta, Giambattista Tiepolo). There are also some works of the Ferrara school (Dosso Dossi, Scarsellino) and other Italian and foreign schools  (Giordano, Strozzi, Gossaert). A space was recently opened  hosting contemporary art. The Episcopal Seminary Picture gallery has also been present since 1982.
