Parish Church of S. Valentino

-Chiesa-Parrocchiale-di-S-Valentino

Built in the XVII Century on the remains of a previous church dedicated to St. Leo.
It contains several paintings of the Ferrarese 1700s of painters such as Ghedini and Gregori. The most important work is a seventeenth century painting of Christ Crucified by Ercole Sarti. The walnut choir stalls are of the second half of the XVII Century.

Monastery of S. Croce

Salara-Monastero-di-S.-Croce

It is formed by a main building, two lateral wings and a dove tower. The foundations date back to the XII Century, while the central part is from the 1600s and the wings from the XVII and XIX Centuries. The imposing structure testifies the importance the monastery had in past centuries.
