Beach of Boccasette

Visualizza Boccasette in una mappa di dimensioni maggiori

BoccasetteThe beach is a real sandy sandbank connected via a bridge, a place which is still un-spoilt except for a few wooden beach huts providing services to tourists. A place far away from the hustle and bustle, the noises of the city, from the most popular tourist destinations, reachable through kilometres of countryside, expanses of cultivated land reclaimed from the sea thanks to great works of reclamation.

Here one can live the beach life, in a place which is slightly wild and so very quiet, fascinating, conveying strong sensations to the visitor. One may also take a walk along the road that, coasting along the valley, reaches the mouth of the Po of Maistra. In that semi-deserted place, with a little luck one may admire the slow flight of the great red heron or majestic buzzard. Here also, as in Barricata, there are bathing establishments with tourist facilities, integrated into the environment and respectful of the natural landscape.
