Ca' Mello Inlet

Oasi di Ca' MelloThe wetland of Cà Mello is along the banks of the Scardovari Inlet. It is a natural oasis corresponding to what was long time ago, the mouth basin of the Po di Camello, active up until the end of the 1800s later to become a brackish water basin, at the service of the fishing valleys.

The visitor will be enchanted by the landscape and by this particular natural environment, rich in different vegetal species, a resting and nesting place for many ornithic species of valley habitat such as the sheldrake, buzzard, royal harrier and minor harrier, cuckoo falcon and marsh harrier, field crib, swallow, tapio, house martin, wagtail, white wagtail.
